Visiting hours and guidelines
Most areas of our hospitals welcome visitors 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week.

Dining options
Patients, families and visitors have a variety of dining choices across our campuses. Options include restaurants coffee shops, vending machines with assorted beverages, candies and snacks.
Nebraska Medical Center
The Food and Nutrition Services Department looks forward to serving you during your stay. We take a clinically led, chef-inspired approach with a menu to deliver nutrition that heals, without sacrificing flavor. A host or hostess will visit your room daily to help you select your meal orders.
A copy of our menu is available in your room to help you make your meal selection.
Location: University Tower, Level three.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; closed weekends.
Menu: Soup/salad bar, hot entrees, mindful entrees, grill options, Asian cuisine, grab-and-go items and beverages.
Location: Clarkson Tower, Level one.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.; weekends, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Subway is open 24/7.
Menu: Soup/salad bar, grill items, Mexican food, hot entrees, grab-and-go items, Subway sandwiches and beverages.
Location: University Tower, Level three.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.; weekends and holidays, 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Menu: Snacks, grab-and-go items, roller grill, frozen snacks, bottled beverages and coffee.
Café: Breakfast and daily lunch rotation; Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Restaurant: Dine-in or takeout; Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Storz Coffee Shop: Clarkson Tower, Level one; Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center Coffee Shop: Ground level; Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Starbucks: Durham Outpatient Center, Level one; Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.; weekends, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
