Spiritual Care

Nebraska Medicine chaplains and volunteers are here to support patients, families and visitors of all faiths and backgrounds. They are available 24/7 to offer spiritual and emotional support.

How we can help you

We can offer support when you:

  • Need spiritual support or prayer.
  • Would like to participate in a sacrament or ritual.
  • Need guidance as you face difficult decisions.
  • Are struggling with spiritual or religious concerns.
  • Would like assistance in contacting a community, congregation or faith group.
  • Are not sure what you need but want to talk to someone who cares and will listen.

How to request spiritual support

A chaplain is always available.

You can also ask any hospital staff member to contact us. Our office is on level 1 of Clarkson Tower, room 1874.

Places of worship

Whether you want to quietly reflect before an important appointment, observe a daily prayer or honor a religious holiday, Nebraska Medicine has dedicated spaces for you.
