How did you fall in love with your field?

I have always been fascinated with how the human body functions and felt that a career in medicine would be a great fit. I love that I get to use my passion to help people with complex surgical pathologies.

    I felt that Dr. Murante took the time to address my questions thoroughly and to provide a comprehensive analysis of the risks and benefits of the various paths forward. Whilst I felt he could be bit more open to certain treatment modalities (e.g., local anaesthesia, non-mesh repairs) as it seemed he was not a fan of these for no particular scientific reason of which I am aware, at the same time I appreciate his directness in being clear about the limits of his expertise. Moreover, I appreciated his highlighting some advantages of a laparoscopic repair that I had not fully considered.
