The Chest Pain Center at Nebraska Medicine has received full Chest Pain Center Accreditation with Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) from the Society of Chest Pain Centers. Our expert staff provides care to our cardiac and post-operative cardiovascular patients in one of two dedicated intensive care units, ensuring they receive care from experienced health care professionals who have special training and knowledge in the care of cardiac patients.
Advanced heart monitoring through cardiac anesthesia
Our cardiac anesthesiologists do not just operate on our own heart care patients. They have specialized training and skills that allow them to perform surgery on prior heart surgery patients for non-heart related surgeries. Using advanced heart monitoring tools, they can monitor the function of the heart during surgery to ensure the surgery is performed safely.
