Managing your health goes beyond medical care. Our Client Services Team includes medical case managers, social workers and outreach coordinators who help you stay connected to care and support.

How We Can Help

We can assist with:

  • Referrals to medical and non-medical services.
  • Medication adherence and risk-reduction counseling.
  • Insurance and benefits applications.
  • Personal health and wellness goals.

Insurance and Benefits Help

If you face changes in coverage or insurance gaps, our team can help you apply for:

  • Medicaid and Medicare.
  • Nebraska Drug Assistance Program (NEDAP).
  • Nebraska Health Insurance Program (HIP).
  • Ryan White services.
  • Patient assistance programs.
  • Social Security Disability and other public benefits.

We can also help determine if you qualify for transportation or other community support services.

Support Groups

We offer support groups for connection and community:

  • Together We Rise (General): 2nd Monday, 6 to 7 p.m.
  • Golden Years (Aging with HIV): 3rd Saturday, 10 to 11 a.m.
  • SisterLove (Women with HIV): 3rd Saturday, 10 to 11 a.m.
  • LGBTQ+ Group: 1st Tuesday, 6 to 7 p.m.
  • Spanish-Speaking Group: 4th Thursday, 6 to 7 p.m.

Staying Healthy with HIV

Adopting healthy habits supports your treatment:

  • Eat a balanced diet to strengthen your immune system.
  • Exercise regularly to reduce stress.
  • Avoid smoking and limit alcohol.
  • Avoid illicit substances.
