How did you fall in love with your field?
I initially fell in love with plastic surgery as an undergraduate nursing student. I found the surgeries themselves to be intricate, meticulous, creative, and fascinating. Outside of the operating room, I saw first hand how this specialty and its procedures, both invasive and noninvasive, can truly impact someone's quality of life positively or in a meaningful way
Three things people may not know about you:
- I used to work as a cosmetologist prior to becoming a nurse/nurse practitioner.
- I love college basketball, especially the Kansas Jayhawks.
- I love cycling and going on hikes.
