Recipe: Cherry "nice cream"

Bananas, red ice cream and cherries

Ingredients

  • 2 frozen bananas, sliced before freezing
  • 3 cups frozen pitted and chopped cherries
  • ½ tsp almond extract
  • ¼ cup milk, more if needed/desired

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a food processor or blender. 
  2. Pulse to break up chunks, then puree until desired consistency. Use ¼ cup milk if desired. 
  3. Serve immediately for soft serve or freeze for harder consistency. 

Nutrition (will vary depending on milk choice): 159 calories, .5 g fat, 5 g fiber, 2 g protein, 40 g carbohydrates
