Labor and Delivery at University Tower

With our newly remodeled labor and delivery wing – and a state-of-the-art Newborn Intensive Care Unit just down the hall – our flagship campus is ready to serve both mom and baby with the highest level of care. Neonatologists, neonatal nurses, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare providers with specialized training are present to attend to any infant needs at the time of delivery. We also offer a team of anesthesiologists who specialize in the care of pregnant women.

For patients with high-risk pregnancy or medical conditions, we are prepared to provide advanced monitoring and care in collaboration with the obstetricians. Our goal is to provide the safest care possible to allow for the best birth experience possible.

Our Level 3 Newborn Intensive Care Unit at the Nebraska Medical Center is a high-tech system and lock-controlled units adds another layer of comfort and specialized care.
