Recipe: Festive yogurt cups
Items needed:
- Phyllo shells (found in the freezer section)
- Dark chocolate for melting
- Greek yogurt – favorite flavor or variety
- Mixed berries or favorite berry for topping
Directions:
- For added crunch, bake the shells before filling – place desired number of empty shells on a baking tray and bake at 350 degrees for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Melt chocolate by microwaving in a microwave-safe container. Melt at medium power (50%) in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval. Be careful not to overcook.
- Use a spoon to coat the inside of shells with melted chocolate. Allow to cool/harden.
- Just before serving, spoon your favorite yogurt to fill the shell (approximately 1 tablespoon).
- Top yogurt with your favorite berry, pomegranate arils, toasted coconut and whipped cream.
- Use melted chocolate to drizzle over top, if desired.
- Serve immediately.
