Recipe: Apple nachos

Plate of sliced apples covered in seeds, Greek yogurt and honey

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium apple, sliced

  • ½ cup plain reduced-fat Greek yogurt

  • 1 tsp. honey

  • 1 Tbsp. almond butter

  • 3 Tbsp. water

  • 1Tbsp. salted pumpkin seeds

  • 1 tsp. chia seeds

  • 1Tbsp. granola chunks

  • 1/8 tsp. Cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Slice apple into thin slices and arrange on a plate. 

  2. Mix yogurt, honey, almond butter and water together and drizzle over apples. Thin as needed. 

  3. Sprinkle pumpkin seeds, chia seeds and granola chunks on top of yogurt layer. 

  4. To finish, sprinkle cinnamon over entire dish and serve immediately. 

Makes 2 servings: Per serving: 200 calories, 9 g total fat, 24 g carbohydrates, 10 g protein, 4 g fiber
