Interests

Dr. Cornett's clinical expertise is in all aspects of adult spine surgery (cervical, thoracic, and lumbar). In his spine-only practice, Dr. Cornett treats a variety of conditions including degenerative conditions/arthritis, spinal stenosis, myelopathy, spondylolisthesis, disc herniations, instability, scoliosis, and tumors.

As an orthopaedic spine surgeon, I pride myself on giving a thorough, honest opinion for each patient.  If I don’t feel surgery is the right thing for your condition, I won’t recommend it. I also am happy to direct patients on different conservative options as needed. I have a background as a physical therapist prior to becoming a physician/spine surgeon, and have fellowship training in complex spine surgery and general orthopedic surgery. If surgery is needed, I offer any approach available – from  the simplest to the most complex procedures in my spine-only practice. - Dr. Cornett
