Our expertise and efficiency combined with a newer operating room environment enables us to provide you with a great experience. What to Expect

Patients at Bellevue Medical Center immediately notice our dedication to privacy, comfort and one-on-one attention. Families are able to spend more time with loved ones before and after the procedure than in traditional surgical settings.

• Upon arrival patients and families are greeted, registered and directed to private rooms. Once settled, patients and their families are introduced to the care team, a Registered Nurse and an Anesthesia provider.
• During the procedure, patients receive outstanding care while loved ones relax in a comfortable lounge, enjoy our calming water feature and dine in the cafeteria. Families are frequently updated on the procedure's progress through our electronic patient tracking system and by experienced staff members.
• Once the procedure is finished, surgeons meet with families in private consultation rooms. Meanwhile, patients are moved to the post anesthesia care area.
• During the final phase of recovery, we invite the entire family into the patient's private room. For families with small children or special needs patients, we provide private spaces in the recovery area.
• At discharge, we walk you to the front door of the hospital, where you can pull up for easy transportation home.
