Recipe: Garlic Parmesan green beans
Ingredients
- 1 lb. fresh green beans, stems removed
- 1 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ tsp. kosher salt
- 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese, grated
Instructions
- Steam the green beans by adding 2 to 3 inches of water to a deep stock pot with a steamer attachment. Bring the water to a boil. Add the green beans to a steamer basket and steam for 6 to 8 minutes, until they are slightly tender.
- Once tender, remove the green beans from the heat, drain water and set aside.
- Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it melted.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute, stirring frequently.
- Add the green beans, sea salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat the green beans evenly.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and sprinkle grated Parmesan over the green beans. Toss until the Parmesan is melted.
