Nebraska Medicine and the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) handled the treatment of three patients with Ebola in 2014. Since then, we have led the world in treatment, training and quarantine methods for highly infectious diseases.

Nebraska Medicine/UNMC infectious diseases specialist Mark Rupp, MD, provides an update on what we know about the novel coronavirus which originated in Wuhan, China. He talks about how infectious it is and what we know about its mortality rate at this time. He also discusses what a possible quarantine would look like for rescued Americans being brought back from China.
