Project Inspire

Project Inspire was created to provide teens with real-life skills and exposure to a wide range of careers and life skills needed to thrive. The participants in this program have a history of involvement with the juvenile probation system and are at increased risk for future justice system involvement and violence.

Through partnerships with first responders, community agencies and educational institutions, teens engage in hands-on learning, leadership development and positive relationship-building. The program helps equip youth with practical skills, supportive connections and opportunities that can positively shape their future.

The program was started in partnership with the University of South Alabama, where it originated. The University of South Alabama team provided guidance while we adapted the program to meet the needs of Omaha, and through this collaboration we bring a proven, research-informed program to teens while contributing to the ongoing national learning and impact.
