Joint Pain

Joint Pain

Pain in your joints is a very common condition. Our joints form connections between bones and provide support and mobility. When your joints are damaged from disease or injury, it can cause pain and interfere with movement.

Our doctors will determine what is causing your joint pain. There are many causes of joint pain. Reactions to antibiotics, gout, fibromyalgia, Lyme disease, arthritis and many other conditions can cause joint pain.

Treatment will be aimed at reducing inflammation and preserving the joints. Treatments can include over-the-counter oral medications and topical medications to reduce inflammation and pain. Steroid injections may be used for people who are not able to find relief from oral or topical medications.
