Nurses often assist with more complex radiology procedures, particularly those that require intravenous medication, contrast, or sedation. Our medical physicists ensure accurate and safe performance of radiological studies. They work together with the radiology team to plan the most effective and accurate protocols while ensuring safe radiation doses that are as low as reasonably possible. They also monitor the performance of our radiological equipment and conduct research to develop new imaging technologies.
Our dosimetrists collaborate with radiation oncologists and medical physicists to calculate precise radiation doses.
