Becker’s Hospital Review names Nebraska Medical Center one of 100 Great Hospitals in America
Nebraska Medicine - Nebraska Medical Center has once again been named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s “100 Great Hospitals in America,” making it the only hospital in Nebraska to be recognized among the nation’s most prestigious names in health care.
Becker’s recognizes hospitals on the list for excellent patient care, a commitment to safety, and a culture of nonstop growth.
Nebraska Medical Center is specifically highlighted for care in transplant, infectious diseases, and cancer care through the National Cancer Institute-designated Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center.
“This honor belongs to the thousands of Nebraska Medical Center colleagues who dedicate themselves to extraordinary care,” says Michael Ash, MD, CEO of Nebraska Medicine. “Their professionalism and compassion, combined with the innovative treatments that only an academic medical center can provide, make a difference for our patients every day.”
The Becker’s Hospital Review editorial team selected hospitals based on recognition of their recent achievements, including those from U.S. News & World Report, Newsweek, Healthgrades, CMS, and The Leapfrog Group. Becker’s also accepts nominations for the list.
