To be admitted to Adult Psychiatric Emergency Services, first visit the Nebraska Medical Center Emergency Department on level one of the Hixson-Lied Center.

The Adult Psychiatric Emergency Services at Clarkson Tower features a calm and compassionate environment away from the main Emergency Department. The purpose of this unit is to stabilize and quickly connect these patients with community partners for treatment while avoiding unnecessary inpatient admissions.

DIRECTIONS

Nebraska Medicine Emergency Services is located on the level one of the Hixson-Lied Center. The only way to get here because of COVID-19 is to take either Dodge or Farnam street, and turn south onto 44th Street. It will be on your left about two blocks if turning from Farnam Street, and four blocks if turning from Dodge Street. Look for the big red directional signage.
