Dr. Artz was knowledgeable, open, friendly, listened well and answered all my questions completely. I feel I am getting excellent care and know If I have any additional questions or Issues, I can contact her. She Is extremely thorough, prompt and responsive.

I desire a relationship with my provider where I feel that they understand my health goals and who I am as a person. I feel that the provider has been trained to provide care in a way that makes hugging the priorities of the electronic medical record essential and the focus of the visit. Therefore the visit was quite automatized and robotic and the provider's capacity to be nuanced in her approach based on me as an individual was quite limited. Perhaps I am simply disappointed in the overall agenda of health care 2025 and she has made that first priority.

I'm sure Dr. Artz is a good person and she appears to get good reviews, but my sense was the appointment was driven by answering the questions Epic required and conforming to "The Model" which values upselling and maximizing output...like a factory assembly line or fast food franchise. I know practices peg physician pay and promotion to how well they fulfill the expectations of The Model (developed by the MBAs that run medical systems, not patients) so I do have some understanding on why she focused so much on the computer. I had hoped to get to know her better and that she might get to know me and my concerns better but the clock was obviously ticking and answering Epic's questions was a priority over my concerns. Epic and The Model drove the entire appointment. To be frank I could have completed whatever questions Epic spit out and that would have left more time for an actual conversation. I also had to stop the phlebotomist from drawing blood. This was not needed until May so there was miscommunication going on between her and Dr. Artz and this just reinforced my perception people were moving too quickly to convey the correct information.

Doctor Hannah Artz is a very competent physician and I trust her with my health care

Every single time that I arrive and see Dr. Artz my concerns are validated, I am listened to, and there are solutions that come together that make sense to me.

I had to choose a new provider when my primary care physician (whom I loved) retired. So I was pleased with Dr. Artz when she showed the same attentiveness as my old provider.
