I was very disappointed with this appointment. The doctor seemed extremely rushed, and had not looked at the records that were sent to him prior to my daughter's appointment, so he was unaware of what was going on. Then when I tried to tell him the situation, he talked over me and didn't listen. The entire appointment felt super rushed and I didn't feel like we were given a good recommendation upon leaving.

My experience with Dr. Halawa left me feeling disappointed and unheard. I do not feel that my symptoms were not taken seriously.I was referred by my optometrist to a neuro-ophthalmologist for a specific set of symptoms, but Dr. Halawa quickly dismissed them as they weren't occurring at the time of the appointment and he couldn't observe them directly - and as such were not a cause for concern. I felt brushed off and that I was not taken seriously.

I will not be coming back or recommending this dr to anyone. He was very rude and condescending when discussing treatment plans. He did not listen to my concerns. I was very dissatisfied with his care.

Dr. Halawa was very thorough with his examination. When he saw something unexpected, he called in another physician to assess it. I was there over 3 hours, but a diagnosis was made.

He was very thorough with reviewing the notes and pictures of my daughter's eyes. He included her in the conversation and asked her questions about how she felt. He also conducted his own review of her eye movements and vision limitations. He put my mind at ease through his medical explanation of her diagnosis. We are grateful for the care he provided!

I went to this provider because I had heard good things about the facility. The provider was great.
