Though we are still seeing coronavirus (COVID-19) patients, we are once again performing most of our regular services. 

This page will be updated regularly, but if you have an appointment or procedure scheduled, and do not see your clinic location listed below, we encourage you to call ahead, as changes are happening quickly.

Current visitor and gift policies

For the safety of our patients, staff and community, visitor restrictions are currently in place. 
See our latest policy. We are currently not allowing any flower or balloon deliveries. You can send them a free e-card with your own message instead.  

Location/Clinic Closures and Changes

Diabetes Education

Our diabetes educators are available for one-on-one, in-person visits or telephone visits. Our group classes are currently offered virtually or in person. If you have questions or need diabetes education support, call 402.559.8700.

Pediatrics at University Tower, Nebraska Medical Center

Inpatient pediatrics patients have been temporarily relocated to Clarkson Tower, Level four, South. Pediatric intensive care patients have been temporarily relocated to Clarkson Tower, Level nine, South. For questions, please call 402.552.2000.

Event/Resource changes and cancellations

Breastfeeding/Lactation Support and Education - Nebraska Medicine has temporarily suspended group Latch and Learn sessions at the Olson Center for Women's Health, Bellevue Medical Center, Fontenelle Health Center and Chalco Health Center

  • Our lactation consultants are available for one-on-one clinic appointments. If you have questions or need breastfeeding support, call 402.552.3487

BSN nursing student tours - All upcoming tours have been temporarily suspended

Financial Assistance - Because of the risk posed by coronavirus (COVID-19) to our patients, staff and our community, visitors are not allowed at our 33rd and Farnam streets location

Job shadowing - Registration and scheduling of job shadowing has been postponed until at least September 15. See this page for the latest information on job shadowing.

Medical record requests - Visitors are not allowed at our Health Information Management location at 33rd and Farnam streets at this time. 

Olson Center childbirth education classes - Classes are being offered online only. Visit https://www.nebraskamed.com/Childbirth-Education for more information. 

Volunteering at Nebraska Medicine - Suspended indefinitely.
