Current visitor and gift policies
Our current visitor policy went into effect on March 16. See our latest policy. We are currently not allowing any flower or balloon deliveries. You can send them a free e-card with your own message instead.
Location/Clinic Closures and Changes
Bellevue Medical Center Labor & Delivery
Currently all expecting mothers planning to deliver at the Bellevue Medical Center will have to go to Omaha's Nebraska Medical Center, level four of University Tower. We're doing this in order to serve more COVID-19 patients.
Cardiology
Outpatient cardiopulmonary rehab services at the Nebraska Medical Center and Bellevue Medical Center are temporarily suspended until further notice. Inpatient cardiac rehab services will continue. Our inpatient staff will continue processing both internal and external referrals as usual. If you've been referred to us, your home town cardiac rehab program will then contact you with further information.
Dermatology
Dermatology services have been temporarily suspended at Chalco Health Center, Fontenelle Health Center and Village Pointe Health Center. Dermatology at Lauritzen Outpatient Center remains operational.
Diabetes Education
Our Diabetes Educators are available for one-on-one in-person visits or telephone visits. If you have questions or need diabetes education support, call 402.559.8700.
Mammography
We are again accepting routine mammogram screening requests over the phone. Because of a backlog, we will not be offering online scheduling for mammograms right now. If you have a need to request a diagnostic mammogram, please call 800.922.0000.
Olson Center for Women's Health
Well Woman care and screening services at the Olson Center for Women’s Health at Durham Outpatient Center and Village Pointe Health Center locations have been temporarily suspended. Modifications are being made in the timing of pregnancy care visits at both locations. Telehealth services are available. Please check your OneChart | Patient portal for additional information about scheduled appointments or call 402.559.4500.
Pediatrics at University Tower, Nebraska Medical Center
Inpatient pediatrics patients have been temporarily relocated to Clarkson Tower, Level four, South. For questions, please call 402.552.2000.
Truhlsen Eye Institute and the Optical Shop at Village Pointe Health Center
Ophthalmology services and the Optical Shop are now open at Village Pointe Health Center. Doors will be locked as only one patient at a time is allowed in the shop, with one optician. There are designated chairs for patients waiting in the lobby. No visitors allowed and all safety measures are in place, including required masks.
Village Pointe Aesthetic Surgery | Dreams MedSpa
Dreams MedSpa is reopening June 1! We are first rescheduling cancelled appointments but are now also taking new appointments. Patients are required to wear a mask and are screened before entering the facility. If you do not own a mask, we will provide one. Village Pointe Aesthetic Surgery is complying with the operational principles for procedures guidelines and rescheduling elective surgical cases. For questions, please call 402.596.4000.
