Julie is an excellent PCP. She listens and answers any questions or concerns I might have. She always makes sure I understand the information and feel comfortable with the treatment or course of actions recommended.

Julie Nieveen is a top tier care provider. She is so incredibly caring and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to my healthcare needs. I go to the Mayo Clinic for a spinal tumor that was removed in 2020 and over the 15 years of them monitoring and then ultimately requiring spinal surgery, Julie has been vital to making sure all my needs are met in regards to my incomplete spinal cord injury. She is the one that actually found it initially when it was just a cyst in my spinal cord in 2011. It ended up turning into a tumor, but she was the one that was so thorough in finding why I was having the symptoms I was having at the time. Due to the surgery, I have a spinal cord injury and had to learn to walk again. I continue to need care and yearly visits to Madonna to make sure I don't lose the abilities that I have left. She is instrumental to my continuing care and makes sure to review my Mayo Clinic scans and clinical notes. She is on top of everything with my care and makes sure that I am on track with everything that I need. She takes care of my three kids, now are all adults, and my husband. She truly is the best caregiver that we all have ever had! Truly an asset to Nebraska Medicine.

First time I saw Julie and she mostly stared at the screen, worried about my meds, then told me I was to complicated to be seen at this clinic and can't come back and was told that before. I was never told that. She told me I had to see internal med and she was very rude, poor bedside manners.
