Annual Enrollment 2027

Enrollment is open from Nov. 2 to Nov. 16.

Stay informed, enroll confidently

Annual enrollment runs from Nov. 2 through Nov. 16 and is your opportunity to review your benefits and make sure your coverage still meets your needs for the coming year. This year’s enrollment is passive, meaning most of your current elections will automatically carry over if you do not make changes. However, Health Care FSA and Dependent Care FSA elections do not carry over. You must actively re-enroll in those accounts each year to participate.

Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) can help you save money on eligible health care expenses by using pre-tax dollars. As you evaluate your medical plan options, be sure to consider which account you're eligible for and how its features can support your expected health care needs.

Don't miss out on your contributions. Be sure to open your HSA account as soon as possible, as contributions cannot be deposited until your account is active. Any contributions not claimed within 60 days will be forfeited.

Life can be unpredictable, which is why supplemental benefits are an important part of your overall benefits package. These benefits can help protect your finances and support the people and things that matter most.

Benefits such as supplemental life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, accident, critical illness, or hospital indemnity insurance can be elected or changed at any time throughout the year. Annual enrollment is a great time to review all your benefits.

Supplemental coverage

No. Annual enrollment is passive, so your current medical, dental, and vision elections will automatically carry forward if no action is taken. Any supplemental coverages that you are enrolled in will automatically carry forward if no action is taken.

Yes. Healthcare Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Dependent Care FSA elections must be made each year and will not carry forward automatically.

Frequently asked questions

During annual enrollment, you can elect or update the following benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and legal. You'll also be able to elect a Flexible Spending Account or a Health Savings Account, depending on which medical plan you choose.

This year’s enrollment is passive, which means most of your current benefits, like medical, dental, and vision coverage, will automatically continue if you don’t make any changes. However, if you want to contribute to a Health Care FSA or Dependent Care FSA for the next plan year, you must re-enroll and choose your contribution amounts. These do not automatically carry over.

After the annual enrollment period ends, you will only be able to make changes if you experience a qualifying life event (such as marriage, birth of a child, or job status change).  Learn more about eligibility and qualifying life events.

Outside of Annual Enrollment, you can adjust benefits like supplemental life insurance, AD&D and long-term disability at any time.
