Each person who makes up the Nebraska Medicine health network knows that and it's why we were so honored last year when the American Hospital Association partnered with Monigle, a national brand and research firm, named Nebraska Medicine as one of the most trusted health care brands in the country. And we were just as humbled by the most recent study Monigle and the AHA just published. Again, this year, it shows Nebraska Medicine number 5 in the nation. 

This year's survey focused on brand strength and the human impact health care has on people. During November and December 2021, Monigle asked more than 28,000 people across the country about 60 measures that influence the way they think and feel about health care brands. Our friends and neighbors in and around Omaha connect with Nebraska Medicine at one of the highest levels – more than most other health systems in the country. This strong performance locally, when put up against other brands in their respective markets, puts us in the top ten. We share this news not to brag, but to say thank you. There are more than a million patient visits every year at Nebraska Medicine facilities in Omaha, Bellevue, Grand Island, Kearney and Plattsmouth; and at outreach clinics across Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota.
