Dr. Heckman was with me the least amount of time, but was impressively professional, describing what he was doing, and answering any question. I felt he was an excellent surgeon. The PA spent more time before and after, including tending the wound. As to decisions about care, the procedure had been set, though the PA provided instructions about post-surgery care at home.

I was not able to meet with the provider during my scheduled appointment due to conflicts with scheduling on the provider's end

Dr. Heckman was very thorough in his explanations. He also had his nurse Ann bring up photos to help me understand the options.

Dr. Heckman and his Resident Surgeon both were extremely excellent professionals and PA Story is always outstanding.

The PA was amazing. She did a great job of explaining options to me and also really took the time to address all my questions. The Physician was also wonderful to talk with and was really personable talking with me through the minor surgical procedure.

Procedure was different from the initial planning, however, the explanation of the change was clear, concise and informative

I LOVE DR HECKMAN AND ALL OF HIS STAFF!!

Dr. Heckman and associates explained 3 options for my eye repair. He gave me time to consider and weigh my options, as well as ask additional questions. I felt cared for and well informed.

Everyone explained what they were there to do before doing it and asked if I understood or had any questions or concerns. Very pleased with all of them.

Dr. Heckman, has the unique ability of Putting me at ease right away. I really like my doctor, until he starts putting needles in my face, and then I really like him again.

Dr. Heckman was extremely competent, knowledgeable and experienced. I overheard his comments to resident Dr. Ryan mid-surgery which gave me great confidence that doctor Heckman was thorough and "doing It right." PA Anne Storey was personable, thorough, friendly and really set me at ease explaining beforehand the procedure. Nurse Melissa was also friendly, caring and thorough In explaining the after-surgery protocol. She took plenty of time to answer my questions and verbally go over the written Instructions on aftercare.

Dr. Heckman was nice, but came off as arrogant and condescending. He and his chief resident were not on the same page when it came to a treatment plan.

Everything was explained clearly. All questions I had were answered. My comfort was a concern of all the staff before during and after the procedure.

Dr Heckman & Anne are very professional as well as very good listeners. They do a great job getting to know their patients as well as providing medical care
