Scott A Vincent, MD

I will never recommend that anyone come see Dr. Scott Vincent. He was 49 minutes late for my visit. He did not apologize. He had a very agitated demeanor. He did not explain why he was late. After he finally came into the visit, it was 10 minutes at best. I was very disappointed in him as a provider and I absolutely would not recommend anyone come visit him.

Dr. Vincent always does a nice job explaining what is happening and includes me in decisions. He is patient and answered all of my questions (and I had a lot of them).

I feel very "at home" in this office. And I feel respected as a patient.

He dismissed my issues and sent me to PT. I seriously doubt he looked at my x-rays more than 5 seconds. The patient experience was not good!

I've been fond of this Dr. He was highly recommended and I've put that trust in him. Historically he has been pretty educational and detailed. This visit was quite the opposite. Details of a life changing and life style altering procedure was summed up in basically a sentence. I asked follow up questions but the answers were super short. To an observer it might seem like I was trying to get the secret code to Microsoft windows or the recipe for the colonel's Kentucky Fried Chicken. Everyone has down days, perhaps this was his.

Staff were professional and answered my questions.

I always recommend UNMC and Nebraska medicine because I have gotten excellent care here .

Even though I was not a candidate for DOTS Dr Vincent took the time to explain why and also was detailed regarding my condition and gave me confidence that I was going down the right path in seeking options.

Dr Vincent was very professional and caring. I was looking to an alternative for a fusion and he put me at ease and addressed my concerns. I would highly recommend him and I am a physical therapist, athletic trainer, and Hospital administrator.

I find it very concerning when you see the nurses more than the actual doctor. The nurses were amazing. The doctor on the other hand wasn't even in the room for 5mins and honestly didn't really make feel like I was being seen or heard.

I greatly appreciated Dr Vincent. He sat down and took time to talk to my mother and I about her condition, what the options are and to come up with a plan together for my mom. He never seemed rushed or impatient at all. Great bedside manner.

Told of my concern with the last epidural as opposed to the first epidural I had. They understood my concerns and made sure my needs were met.

I have absolutely no complaints about the service I received for this visit.

I had to ask the doctor a handful of times to clarify his recommendation for treatment

Dr. Vincent was great! Appreciate the time he took to explain everything.

Doctor was very short with examination for work comp exam request. Gave me contradicting advice, and I was not happy with him coming to a conclusion with the very little information he had about my situation. Based his decision off of 4-6 month old data/x-rays, and a few movement tests for pain reasons. Wouldn't recommend or go back.

Always anatomy questions fully and easily understood.

If one reports symptoms that apparently are not related to the original referral cause .. I believe your team members should refer or provide opinion on what else could be happening . Do I need as a patient dig to be referred to address the symptoms reported but do I have knowledge as to know what to ask?....

Provider walked in the room said here we're going to give you this medication and walked out was in for maybe 45 seconds. Gave no concern about my MVA Injuries

Dr Vincent is awesome! Professional and courteous!

Dr Vincent seemed impatient and like he didn't even want to see me. He seemed overall unhappy as a person too. He refused to address any possible nerve compression issues. He seemed to refuse to acknowledge the inherent connection between nerves and muscles and bones. It's hard to not have these related connections between specialties... Especially with nerves. It's not like I was asking him about my thyroid.

Have recommended Dr. Scott Vincent to everyone that talks about ortho surgery.

He never appeared rude and was very caring. He explained my back issues honestly and clearly.

He did not seem happy to be at work just told us no resolution but pain clinic , expressed my back cannot repaired nor did seen to care where my pain has been . I have done 7 years of a pain clinic with the pain worsening to the point I can not have any activity because it heightens the pain the back. I'm sure glad this surgeon has a crystal ball. How does he know how much intrusion to the spinal canal causes pain. I wish he would have of evaluated me by touching where it hurts and seeing if the area is affected. Poor bedside manner. All the reviews online are true.

Ignored me when about where my pain is and kept taking about how the area they took the x ray on looks good but that not the area I'm asking them to look at where I'm feeling pain at

This appointment should have been an email or phone call. My test results showed nothing and all I got was a referral to another doctor. Having to wait over 2 weeks for an appointment to then get no info was unacceptable.
