Dr. Rishi is excellent at listening and explaining my condition and treatment plan

The doctor gave me exciting news of upcoming treatments.

Dr. Rishi was exceptional and performed a thorough examination of my eyes while providing information regarding his findings and possible treatment options. I called his scheduler, Ali, on Tuesday, the day after my initial visit, and she returned my call and scheduled the fluorescein examination that I had today.

I couldn't know anything about my child because the Doctor didn't have the interpreter I asked for and I don't know English that way I can't recommend anyone

Dr. Rishi is very kind and courteous and knowledgeable and if I hadn't so badly wanted to see him, I would not have tolerated such a long wait time. I'm glad I did, but I hope that this is something that the clinic will pay attention to. Telling people that normal wait time is 2 to 4 hours is not acceptable. They don't tell you that upfront, though, it's not until you complain and then they will explain that that's normal.

I will be seeking a different provider as the lack of respect of other peoples time is unacceptable and we are supposed to just wait until he graces us with his almighty presence. Poor excuse and a poor representative of Nebraska Med I had come to expect better from the system as a whole. Now not so much

The nurses who did the scans and testing were compassionate and very nice. They could have perhaps kept us informed about the delays. Dr. Rishi was a very concerned and friendly. He did a good job of explaining next steps; however, after waiting in the office for at least 4 1/2 hours, we were tired and overwhelmed by the amount of information. Written notes would have been nice to summarize the visit.

Dr Rishi is so kind and patient. Explains everything clearly. Does not rush.

Lots of kindness

Dr. Rishi was so kind! I was so glad he had knowledge of my rare eye disease and of its new treatment. He answered my questions clearly and asked me questions not just about my symptoms but about how I felt about my diagnosis. I was very impressed with him! The opthamologist who originally diagnosed me (at another facility) handed me a printout from the internet and that was the end of it. Dr. Rishi made sure I did not have that same experience.

Dr Rishi is a perfect combination of a top tier physician that communicates in a way that's very easy to understand. It's just amazing to me to have that ability. I left my appointment feeling very satisfied that Dr Rishi understood my condition and provided me with information on the tests that were taken along with a plan for any changes.

I always feel like they use terms I am not familiar with but Dr Rishi does try to explain to me

I went to have a consultation re: multiple floaters in one eye. I was going to consider the vitro surgery. Dr did not seem too concerned about it. He alluded to when it was interrupting my life maybe then I should consider surgery.

I would recommend Dr. Rishi, he has been seeing my sister for several years now for this eye issue. He was the one who finally performed the laser treatment on my sister.

I love the team of doctors that work together to give me excellent eye care. They all care about me and my eye problems.

All providers gave explicit explanations of procedure. Explained benefits and risks. Responded to all my questions with respect. Gave detailed step by step description of procedure. Provided detailed aftercare instructions.

I don't generally recommend doctors to others, but if I were asked for my opinion, I would gladly tell them they were great.

I feel fortunate to have Dr. Rishi. I was with another Doctor before, and my lymphoma continually needed more treatments. Dr. Rishi saved my eyesight, and I am grateful he continues to monitor my vision in my remaining eye that I lost when I was a teenager.

I didn't hear him say much about my eyes. He talked more about getting with the low vision clinic.

Wait times were too long! Apparently, there is no real solution to my eye problem, which is disappointing.

Dr. Rishi is the most engaged physician I've seen. He takes the time to make sure you understand and are comfortable with decisions regarding your health. He truly listens and responds -never rushes thru an appointment. He has earned my confidence, trust, and most importantly my respect.

This was for a second opinion and provider said original provider was doing what the Med Center would do. However, we were not provided any information about the illness/issue itself, nor any information about treatment options. We had not gotten any of this information from the original provider and we're hoping that we would Have a more educational experience at the med center.

Dr. Rishi confirmed that the resident had done several laser treatments before he sent me with the resident.

Too long of a wait time.

It was very clear that Dr. Rishi did not look at my chart or records before seeing me. We took scans this day, and when he came into the room, his response was that his team "saw something in the scans"... Which was already diagnosed 3 years ago and I have been getting treatment elsewhere. It was not some newly discovered thing. I understand that his assessment was based off of what he saw, but his initial conclusion was that I needed treatment again. I think he needed to actually see/examine more of my medical history, past images, etc. Before jumping to that conclusion. That is where I have been left... With no plan of action or any sort of follow-up. It was been a complete nightmare dealing with this facility and getting the medical records sent to different places so that I can finally figure out what my next steps are, and if I do actually need treatment again.

I have recommended Dr Rishi to several people. I think Dr Lee is excellent also. Both are kind, thoughtful, gentle and empathetic.

Dr. Kim and Dr. Rishi were very professional and friendly and informative.

Dr Kim was extremely nice and provided thorough explanations. He used a different technique performing my eye injection and the outcome was 100% better than the first injection I recieved.

This was the first time I met my physician. He was very professional and empathetic. I gained full confidence in my provider very quickly.

Just very long appt was in exam room I hour no one checked on me and no apology for delay

I have been telling many people of my visits to the Truhlsen Eye Institute and of the care I had and continue to receive.

I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Rishi If only the wait time to see him would be less.
