About Me

I am motivated by a good challenge and nothing drives me more than providing safe, effective and novel treatment for complex disorders of the brain and spinal cord. Each ounce of tissue we handle may house a person's personality, memory, sense of humor or their ability to move or talk. The central nervous system is sacred and deserves to be treated as such. I like to think that any new skill or knowledge I can acquire might one day allow a patient to continue to be the best version of themselves. I find it very gratifying to see patients pull through their surgery and return to the activities they love.

Doctor Borg and NP Sara were awesome in educating me regarding the issue, possible treatments, and each oprions' pros and cons. I was very impressed and excited that Dr. Borg showed me how to read the MRI to show me exactly what and where the issue was.

I haven't seen too many Dr's. This Dr. was very down to earth. I like his approach to explaining everything. I was comfortable with all his explanations. I was at ease.

    Very knowledgeable and Professional

Dr. Borg does not do a good job with listening to my concerns. Even when I asked for a second opinion from another doctor, he tried to tell me that this was unnecessary. However, I believe that every patient deserves to be able to be given a second opinion if they ask for one.
