Dr. Schmitt is very good at listening to my concerns or health issues I tell him about. He always includes me in a discussion of the issues ahead and presents the plan to follow.

Dr. Schmitt is the best! He is efficient and moves through the appointment with expertise and kindness!

Best doctor I've ever had

Dr. Schmitt is the first primary care physician that has not added to my medical ptsd from years of dismissal by other doctors. You can even see my comfort level in my chart because my blood pressure is always normal in his office vs other practitioners it is several points higher. He never dismisses my concerns and is prompt to answer my concerns.

Dr. Schmitt is ALWAYS professional and welcoming. This particular day, the computer system was down but all staff dealt with the inconvenience perfectly.

Matt is Excellent. Great. Listen. Then explains in detail. Amazing person. He cares.

Best doctor I have ever had - and I'm 82 years old, so I have seen quite a few over the years. He has excellent communication skills, compassion, and broad ranging knowledge. He works seamlessly with my Mayo Clinic files and avoids duplicating care and tests. I hope to continue as his patient for the remainder of my life.

This is the first doctor and facility that I have been to that actually pays attention and cares. Dr Matthew Schmitt listened to my concerns before he moved forward with recommends . Had had blood test done and found abnormalities that a previous doctor - competitor over many many years did not research or pursue even after I informed them of my concerns. Dr Schmitt is sincerely an empathetic, knowledgeable, professional doctor.

Can't say enough good reason why I see Dr Schmitt

I have (unfortunately) seen many doctors in various treatments in my life. I am from California and had lived in Montana for 9 months before visiting and then deciding to make Nebraska my home. Dr. Schmitt is one of thee best doctors I have seen in my 61 years. His office is kind of far for me and I do not currently have my own transportation. It was suggested by family to find a primary doctor closer to home. I said no, Dr. Schmitt is an excellent doctor and worth the Uber or other ways to see him for my medical needs.

He's best I've ever had.

This was my first visit with Dr Schmitt. I have been trying to find a doctor for years since my internal medicine doctor passed away years ago. I feel like I finally found my forever doctor. You have no idea how relieved I am to know he is there for me. Then the next day he called me with my results from my blood work. Who does that these days? A doctor who calls you? So personal on his part. Plus our sense of humors seem be the same. Thank you and God Bless

I definitely will tell anyone if I have a chance to bring up the subject as the Med Center and the Doctors I gone to there for either myself or my husband has been a blessing to us.

Amazing doctor!

Caring and knowledgeable

I had to schedule outside of my primary care provider when I was sick because she was booked or out of town. Dr. Schmidt did not treat me as a valued patient but more as a favor and quickly checked the boxes to get me on my way. After telling him exactly what was wrong with me because my family had the same thing, he didn't do any standard exam (lungs, ears, nose, throat checks) either of the times I went to see him. Overall, I'm very frustrated with this provider and wasted money on all of his tests when I knew what it was from the start.
