I have recommended Dr. Arcot to many that have complicated seizures. He really listens to what Id like to do, but let's me know the risks. Ive been a patient of his for over five years and there is no one else Id want to see.

We travel from Lincoln to see Dr. Arcot. We could move our care to Lincoln but much prefer the assistance and care we receive from him at UNMC.

Dr. Arcot was the only one we talked to. He spent a lot of time discussing with us, he explained everything so well and in detail answering every question like he really cared

It was a very easy, quick appointment, but both the doctor and resident were great.

Dr. Arcot listened to me regarding any concerns, answers any questions I have and gives me his undivided attention. He has made my new normal way of life easier to embrace and understand.

Basically acted like I was there wasting his time. Even if my test was a false positive (which you can still have what I came in about and be positive) as a person who treats sick people I wish I would have been treated with a little bit of concern. We go to doctors for help not to be written off and scoffed at. This is why people hate conventional medicine. They do not help you unless you are dying or in the ER helpless.

This was the VERY FIRST TIME that I was excited to tell my husband about my appointment. Dr. Arcot and I discussed different options and it was a true discussion and I was able to understand everything easily but best of all, he really hears me and shows empathy and we came up with a tracking system to make sure the things that we're going to treat or just watch are marked with a baseline in my chart and at each appointment we are going to see what is helpful or not or if there's no change but I've never felt so invested in and it means the world to me bc my body or this vessel just wants to hurt me and I get sooo down and so tired but now I really feel that Dr. Arcot believes I deserve to be comfortable. It means so much to me, my husband just hugged while I cried happy tears for the first time but he even agreed how WE hit the jackpot with my care team!!!!

All in all a great experience.

I was very pleased with Dr Arcot. This was my first time with him. He listened to me and I was able to understand him.

Dr. Arcot truly cares about his patients. I had a huge set back and he took the time to listen, help with ideas, and made sure to include my opinion in treatment. I feel valued, cared for, and listened to. There are not a lot of specialists like him out there. He really is one of a kind!

I cannot ask for a better team of care. I don't know many that can brag but I DO!

Dr. Arcot was amazing. I was nervous which always makes me extra chatty and he was extremely patient with it. Asking for clarification on questions he asked and really listened. He was also very sympathetic with the difficulty I had in making decisions in my previous care.

Dr. Arcot is an amazing epileptologist.

Dr. Arcot is always considerate of my concerns regarding my condition and treatment options. He has included me in the decision making process while explaining pros and cons of all options. He also explains details of diagnosis and symptoms to watch for. I have recommended him to my primary care physician if she needs to refer patients.
