Joel D Armitage, MD

Dr. Armitage always appears to be going through the motions when he conducts my annual physical and unless I ask questions or bring up something about my health he does not engage or ask questions and sometimes Is dismissive when I do. I base this observation/feeling on how my previous UNMC physicians that have since retired conducted themselves and were engaged in my care.

As always, very professional yet personal.

Dr. Armitage is always patient with you listening to your concerns. He never appears rushed and has always taken time with the patient, to include listening to your concerns, completing his exam, and discussing his findings and planned further testing and treatment. I greatly appreciate how he always helps me on and off the exam table with strong arm giving me confidence of not falling. As a retired medical professional I have always had great confidence in his care over the many years he has taken care of me! I highly recommend him!

Dr Armitage is an excellent Physician who cares for me as a patient and as a person. He always listens to my input and makes suggestions that are helpful, he also understands my personal issues and works around them whenever I need his help.
