I was there as a new patient and expected a little more

First time with Dr. Hirner and was very pleased with the care I received.

  • Aug 05, 2026

It was great visit anyway. All was good to me, the staff and the doctor himself.

  • Aug 04, 2026

The team explained everything perfectly and made sure I understood what was going on. I will recommend Nebraska Medicine not only to my friends and family, but to my twin sister who deserves the very best.

  • Jul 29, 2026

Dr. Hirner was very kind, thorough, polite.

  • Jul 26, 2026

The doctor was very professional. I reviewed his video on your website ahead and tried to converse a little as he walked in. He was pretty shy

  • Jul 01, 2026

So kind. I felt heard and listened to.

  • May 20, 2026

  • May 04, 2026

Great visit in hospital & telehealth.

  • Apr 10, 2026

Dr. Hirner was very nice & thorough, answered all my questions & called me back personally of my results.

  • Apr 09, 2026

    Good.

  • Mar 03, 2026

The best experience I've had since my cancer diagnosis. Dr. Hirner was knowledgeable of my case and the chemo I am taking.

  • Feb 18, 2026

Hirner - rather apathetic to my issues - didn't seem interested or in being decisive in offering care or solutions.

  • Jan 25, 2026

Dr. Hirner could be more interactive and explain what he's finding. All he said about the spots and moles that showed up on my back and face in the last year was "That's nothing to be concerned about." I would have appreciated an explanation of what is causing it.

  • Jan 05, 2026

Dr. Hirner has been very thorough with his analysis.

  • Nov 22, 2025

    All's well and good.

  • Nov 08, 2025

Have not had a good experience with Dr. Hirner, will not be returning. My lab results have been in for three business days and he has not taken the time to respond or review them.

  • Oct 20, 2025

The doctor was quite good. I came in for a yearly skin check. He wasn't as thorough as people I've had in the past but I'm hoping that's because he didn't see anything concerning.

  • Oct 19, 2025

    Again, all good experiences.

  • Oct 05, 2025

    Awesome experience.

  • Aug 20, 2025

Very clear about problem and treatment

  • Jul 02, 2025

Care provider seemed to look at my bumps as not a concern to health so they were not super important at that point. I was kinda hoping that several of my moles and bumps were removed but he only took the one off my face that I would cut when shaving. I will look for someone a little more aggressive next time in their treatment path. I left feeling like I just drove 110 miles and took time off of work for nothing? However the provider was nice and a decent person just not very aggressive In his care plan.

  • Jun 29, 2025

He did a good job explaining diagnoses, but there were still moments where he used medical terminology I wasn't familiar with related to types of skin conditions.

  • Jun 13, 2025

Dr Hirner was awesome. So nice and explained everything he was going to do. Hope he followed thru and bought the nurses lunch lol.

  • May 27, 2025

Dr. Hirner was wonderful. Both caring and professional. A good listener and communicated a confident path forward.

  • May 27, 2025

He never talked much the confidence in him in reference to treatment and care was not terrible

  • May 21, 2025

Caring and informative evaluation by Dr.H

  • May 11, 2025

    Very good

  • May 02, 2025

I don't feel he really listened to me or addressed the problem. My mouth was not sore from wearing dentures. I went to a dermatologist because my dental hygienist said to have them check it out because it involved skin. He burned off something on my nose but not where I explained. It was on the tip of my nose not the middle.

  • Apr 09, 2025

Dr. Hirner listened to my wishes to seek additional treatment from a thoracic surgeon and listened to my explanation as to why I wanted to take this step. He was very understanding and he told me the other option I had on the table but ultimately let me make the decision. I respect Dr. Hirner very much and would recommend him to anyone looking for a dermatologist but, specifically those struggling with hyperhidrosis.

  • Apr 06, 2025

He was awesome. Very knowledgeable and so encouraging. His treatment is spot on and I'm feeling better now.

  • Mar 19, 2025

This visit was very quick and told me my condition was severe and gave me recommendations to see outside there office and was going to see on a trial drug!!

  • Feb 19, 2025

He was great at explaining issue and why it wasn't concerning. He also provided a variety of options, including do nothing.

  • Jan 22, 2025

Dr. Hirner was kind & caring, he wanted to make sure I was happy & understood my condition. The staff was helpful & kind too. Nice place. Great experience!

  • Jan 05, 2025

Dr. Hirner is thorough and extremely professional.
