Very comfortable with the doctor and his staff

Dr Fehringer has an exceptional bedside manner, is personable and considerate. I was thoroughly impressed by his willingness to listen, consider my entire body system as opposed to just my shoulder, and his professional opinion. This was a refreshing change from what I have experienced at other ortho places (not local). I have already recommended him to a friend of mine for her shoulder.

Dr. F does an excellent job explaining possible diagnosis based on imaging and history of the problem. He actually proposed a possible diagnosis that I had not considered but I have such trust in his expertise that I am going with the next step.

I will never be back to him.

It's bad news Dr. Fehringer will not be doing surgery anymore BUT good news he'll be caring for VA

Dr. Fehringer completely explained the reason for his decision not to do an injection in the shoulder. Since it wasn't related to the rotator cuff he said to let my RA dr make the decision as to treatment. He took the time to explain things so I could decide what I wanted to do.

Dr. Fehringer did a very good job of explaining my injury and how long it would take for it to heal. We discussed numerous problems that I've had that have contributed to my arm healing or lack of, and he was very kind after I discussed all that information and stood up and gave me a genuine hug, which made me feel optimistic about my healing process. He took all the time he needed, whereas my previous surgeon I always had to wait at least 45 minutes to be seen and he would see me for a total of maybe 5 to 10 minutes. Whereas Dr. Fehringer took all the necessary time and I didn't feel like I was being pushed out the door so he could see his next patient, which I respect in it emphasizes why I will continue to see him
