Dr. Firestone is my hero! He did a denervation to my right wrist. There was almost no discomfort from the procedure. I am now able to do so much with my right hand that I was not able to do before. A surgeon in Texas gave me 2 options: injections or fusion. He gave me an injection that was excruciating! Thank you, Dr. Firestone for giving me a third option that has made my life 100% better!

Dr. Firestone was awesome! He knew immediately what my issue was and even asked if I agreed, which I did. He explained the problem and assured me that he was going to take care of it that day! That's what I was hoping he would say! He was very upbeat, positive thinking and made me feel extremely comfortable. If I do have to go back for the 2nd and 3rd treatments, I have no worries that it will end with a great result.

He was very compassionate when I told him about my husband's health issues so that my issue could be delayed.

The resident working with Dr Firestone was awesome - he took care In examining my hands, reviewed my x-rays with me and shared his recommendations- I felt completely at ease with him and confident in his care. Dr Firestone was just as wonderful - he spoke "with" me and "to" me - rather than "at" me - which I found refreshing - my visit was conversational and mutual rather than prescriptive which, (again), put me very much at ease. I had/have absolute confidence that I received the best possible care.

Dr. Firestone was the most kindest, gentle, calming, knowledgeable doctor I have seen (In my 71 years). Living in Lincoln, I was seen by two other doctors, and inquired about two other surgeons to do my thumbs. I knew of Dr. Firestone and I should've started with him first. My x-rays were only sent to him the day earlier and he was able to examine them and diagnose my problem. He discussed alternatives, including the various surgeries that are used to treat my thumb. He used a hand model to show me exactly what he is going to do. He explained the surgery, the aftercare and therapy I will need. He wasn't rushed, and I felt like I had all the time in the world to talk to him about my hurting thumbs. When I left the room in that moment I felt so cared for, I even shed a tear. I felt so relaxed. I know I'm in good "hands" He is the best.

Comments after leaving exam room and walking thru inner office by Dr. was done in a teasing way but felt belittling to me especially when some of staff quietly laughed. Not a laughing matter to me.
