I appreciate physician's time with me. There is never an urgency for them to go to the next patient. Dr. Kotwal is always very informative and wants to make sure that I am comfortable with the plan, leaving with confidence.

Beside my general dr. who sought out his guidance, he has been the only endo dr. to really listen to me and take my concerns and labs serious and really delve into the root problem of my condition. If it wasn't for Dr. Brigit Khandalavala and Dr. Kotwal I would still be wondering what was wrong with me and that I was CRAZY. They cared enough to take me seriously.

Did not listen to concerns. My health concern at the visit was dismissed.

It felt like the Doctor didn't have time to see me. He dismissed some test results as being no concern without explicitly

Tests and labs were not back in time for appointment. This has never been the case with a previous Nebraska Medicine Doctor as I was told to get labs done that day of instead a week prior as in the past. The Appointment should have been rescheduled because all pertinent information regarding care was done in the portal online or a nurse relaying the questions to the doctor. I was told that could make a new appointment. I would have liked to ask my questions and have a conversation with my doctor. I left the appointment feeling like it was mute because the test data was not back and the doc, was pleasant, seemed annoyed that I was there. I was referred to him when my previous doctor, who was phenomenal left. The new doctor seems brilliant at handling the technical unique aspects of my case, which I am grateful, but the basic aspects that I have been struggling with for 3 years were addressed via the portal. I was told that I could go somewhere else for it. I have done my due diligence and the only other doctor that has the expertise at the quality that I want or that can do both aspects of my care are at Stanford or in California. I am grateful for Nebraska Medicine, but this appointment left me frustrated.
