He is the best doctor I ever had. He is a caring doctor. He saved me from pain after 20 yrs. of pain. He saved me when he did jaw surgery, now I'm in pain no more.

Dry humor. Don't really want to be bothered with patient if there is a hint of any problem. Alternative (brace for face) not even discussed (non-surgical).

I felt dismissed and was told It was probably just stress. I had to show him the pictures I had taken myself through out the five months I had been going through my health concern, just to get him to see it wasn't just stress.

Dr U is amazing, I feel totally comfortable because he has done a previous implant for me.

The call from the doctor 2 weeks after the injection gave me hope that if the injection did fail in the future, there could be a joint replacement. I wil contact him if it comes to that

I was caught off guard by a question that I was asked. No problem with the question. I just didn't know how to answer it. He wanted to know why I didn't have this consult and procedure nearer home. My answer should have been: because my dentist preferred to have it done there. She and her staff did the referral and made my appointment. Since I already have several drs at UNMC. I am perfectly comfortable at the various clinics.

He made me feel very much at ease and was good to talk with.
