Patient rooms

Nebraska Medicine has both semi-private and private rooms. Room assignment depends on medical condition, room availability and type of treatment required. Personal requests for private rooms can be made and will be accommodated based on availability. As most insurance polices do not pay for patient requested private rooms, you are responsible for the difference in cost, unless you were placed in a private room as the only available accommodation. Check with your insurance carrier if you are unsure.
