About the Cardiovascular Center
Joint Commission Approved
Nebraska Medicine's Congestive Heart Failure program and Acute Myocardial Infarction (heart attack) program also each received the "Gold Seal of Approval" certification from The Joint Commission making these services the first and only nationally certified programs of their kind in the state of Nebraska.
Nebraska Medicine is a leader in innovative treatments for electrical problems of the heart. Our physicians have developed mapping techniques and pioneered safer therapies like cryoablation to treat irregular heartbeats.
Outstanding Cardiovascular Experience
For the second straight year, Nebraska Medicine has earned JD Power and Associates “Outstanding Cardiovascular Experience” distinction. The J.D. Power and Associates survey also showed Nebraska Medicine outperformed national benchmarks in the area of cardiovascular services. The survey showed nurses at Nebraska Medicine excelled in explaining conditions and treatments and providing clear explanations of procedures.
