ICAR Assessments
Comprehensive and proactive infection control review specialized to different facility types. We offer on-site and virtual assessment support as per the facility request.
Educational Opportunities
We offer Project Firstline training courses, recurring webinars targeting different settings, podcasts, and newsletters to keep you updated on the most current infection control guidelines.
Outbreak Support
We offer guidance on (including but not limited to): Quarantine Isolation, PPE, Environmental Cleaning and Disinfection and Airflow Management.
On-site Technical Support
We offer proactive on-site assistance for specific issues related to infection control: PPE * Sterilization and Disinfection * Environmental Cleaning and Disinfection * Hand Hygiene * Respiratory Hygiene / Respiratory Protection * Water Management
Infection Control Hotline
We’re available during regular business hours: M-F 8:00-4:00 and on-call for emergencies only: Weekends and Holidays 8:00-4:00
Mentorship Program
We provide structured, ongoing support to help Infection Preventionists expand their knowledge in their respective practice type: Acute Care, Outpatient, Dental, and Post-acute Care.

The National Health Safety Network (NHSN), through the CDC, is the nation’s most widely used healthcare-associated infection tracking system. Nebraska ICAP has gathered NHSN resources for different facility types to assist with training and reporting requirements.
