Kidney Transplant Program Celebrates 40 Years

The Nebraska Medical Center is a world renowned organ transplant center. Its reputation began with the advent of the kidney transplant program in 1970. Medical center staff and patients reflect on the thousands of life-saving transplants performed in the last 40 years, and look ahead to the thousands more to be done in the years to come.
