Dr. Mukherjee trained in Internal Medicine in the United Kingdom and the United States. He completed training in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology in the United States and has worked at the University of Nebraska Medical Center since 2000. He also works as a Staff Gastroenterologist at Omaha Veterans Affairs Medical Center where he served as Chief of Gastroenterology and Hepatology from 2005-08.

  • Dr. Muhkerjees's research is focused in viral hepatitis, post-transplant recurrence of viral hepatitis and fatty liver disease.
