Welcome
On behalf of The Nebraska Medical Center, in partnership with the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), I would like to thank you for
your interest in our programs. We are committed to the provision of outstanding postgraduate residency training. We currently have one of the
most established pharmacy residency programs in the country and offer an array of experiences designed to prepare individuals for differentiated
roles in pharmacy practice. In addition to our Postgraduate Year One (PGY1) pharmacy residency, we offer Postgraduate Year Two (PGY2) residencies
in Oncology and Critical Care, and fellowships in Critical Care and Infectious Disease.
The primary emphasis of the residency program will be the development of practice skills in differentiated areas. Residents will participate in
ongoing activities to further develop skills in the areas of research, teaching, problem solving and clinical practice. Residents will be delegated
responsibilities and will be allowed to achieve as much independence as desired.
There are many residency choices available, but I am confident that you will greatly benefit from any of the residency programs offered at The
Nebraska Medical Center. The time, talent and energy invested now will pave the way for many future career opportunities. As the Residency
Program Director, it is my goal to help you reach your highest potential. Please contact either myself or any of our current and past residents
if you have any further questions.
Sincerely,
Patrick D. Fuller, BS, PharmD, BCPS
