Organizations interested in utilizing the remote pharmacy services offered by The Nebraska Medical Center will choose from four Clinical service levels and three service hour options to customize the service to fit their needs.

Clinical service levels:

Level One

  • Prospective pharmacist review
  • Medication therapy management service
  • Visual authentication of medications (optional)
  • Nursing in-services
  • Quality control and improvement
  • Drug policy development
  • Medication safety consultants
  • Development of guidelines and service level contracts with local pharmacists

Level Two

  • All services listed in Level One plus pharmacists order verification

Level Three

  • All services listed in Level One plus pharmacists order entry

Level Four

  • Drug information and pharmacist clinical consulting service

Service hour operations:

Option One

  • Twenty-four hours a day and seven days each week

Option Two

  • Sixteen hours each day
  • Expanded hours for paid time off, vacations and illness

Option Three

  • Paid time off hours, vacations and illness
  • Other
