Nebraska Medicine has several videos available for you to view before coming to the hospital for surgery. We invite you watch these videos in an effort to become familiar with our procedures.

The Your Surgery video is designed as an interactive tutorial to guide you through the process of arriving at Nebraska Medicine, parking and checking into the proper location. Our team will also share with you what you can expect to experience during the pre-operative (or pre-op) process.

Pre-operative nurse Sue walks you through what happens after you check in and before your surgery begins. Information includes what happens to your belongings, description of some of the equipment used, the staff you will meet with and various questions you may be asked.

Using Crutches Properly

This video is applicable if you know you will be using crutches after your surgery.
