Tribute to Caregivers
The Tribute to Caregivers Plaza is located on the east side of the Hixson-Lied Center for Clinical Excellence. In the middle of the plaza stands the unique bronze sculpture illustrating the caring and gentle touch of a healthcare provider, an impressive "wall of honor" and beautiful commemorative stones.
The Commemorative Stone Program at The Nebraska Medical Center provides an opportunity to honor those who have dedicated their careers to caring for people or remember loved ones who have passed. Proceeds from the Commemorative Stone Program benefit a restricted fund supporting the continuing education of patient caregivers, such as nurses, technicians and other healthcare professionals who are required to meet continuing education guidelines.
