Polo for Patients

Serious illness or sudden critical injury can change a family’s financial stability. Assisting with their most basic needs helps family members remain at the bedside of their loved one. Polo for Patients is an extraordinary event benefitting The Nebraska Medical Center’s Patient Assistance Fund.

The Nebraska Medical Center provides innovative treatments and exceptional care for people throughout the state and across the nation. When resources such as insurance, Medicaid, family, church and community funds are depleted, the Patient Assistance Fund helps patients and family members by providing financial assistance for basic needs such as lodging, meals and transportation.

The Patient Assistance Fund is funded entirely by charitable contributions. Since 2010, more than 1,800 patients and families have received assistance totaling more than $250,000. We hope you will join us in supporting Polo for Patients 2012 at the most generous level possible.

Honorary Chairs and Presenting Sponsors
The Nebraska Medical Center is pleased to announce Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Lauritzen will serve as honorary chairs as Lexus of Omaha Presents Polo for Patients. Team sponsors First National Bank and Valmont Industries to vie for the champion title. Pick a team and root them on!
Event Information
Polo for Patients will be held Saturday, June 9 at Levi Carter Park. The day begins at 11 a.m. with a champagne reception and luncheon followed by the polo match. The Des Moines Polo Club will demonstrate the skills of players and their horses as they show us why this sport has been enjoyed for more than 2,000 years.

Tickets are available for purchase and cost $100 each.
