For nearly a year, the construction workers have been remodeling the Oncology Hematology Special Care Unit at The Nebraska Medical Center. During the remodel, health care workers and their patients have been scattered among several units within the hospital. Now, everyone is back in one place in a state-of-the-art facility with 24 beds, including five suites.
