Staff members from The Nebraska Medical Center and UNMC along with people from the Omaha community went bald for childhood cancer research. The annual St. Baldrick's shave-a-thon was held again in the Durham Outpatient Center and dozens of folks raised money to go bald for the cause. Several people had their heads shaved for the second and third time at the event. Medical director of the emergency department, Dr. Bob Muelleman led a team of doctors and nurses who raised money and had their heads shaved in support of a colleague with cancer. Stylists from Lynn's Hair Lounge provided their services for the sixth straight year.
