Is it possible to eat a healthy diet that tastes good? Nutrition experts from The Nebraska Medical Center demonstrated that it is. Using tricks like serving food on a smaller plate and "hiding" vegetables in recipes helps people keep their diets in line with the USDA's "MyPlate" recommendations.
Instead of the food pyramid, the USDA designed MyPlate as a visual depiction of what can make up a healthy daily diet.
The Nebraska Medical Center has several low-cost programs available to anyone interested in losing weight, fighting diabetes or just healthier eating.
